3-4 year old storytime 10 a.m., every Wednesday. Storytimes include songs, rhymes, and crafts!

This year's summer library theme is "Libraries Rock!" All programs are free and open to the public. Some of our programs take place at the Whitehall School, so please pay attention to the program location! Join us!

Library Checkout day for Summer school kids @ Whitehall Public Library

June 19th: Planet art, we'll explore planet features with chalk! Melby Park 12:40 p.m.


June 20th:

Planet Exploration. Use your science skill to detect the features of an unknown planet! Melby Park 12:40 p.m.

June 21st: Moon Rock Day! Find out how we think the moon was made and see real moon rocks from NASA! 12:40 p.m. Melby Park


June 25th:

Library Checkout day for Summer School kids at Whitehall Public Library.

June 26th:

The Science of Music. Learn the science behind how music works. 12:40 p.m. @Melby park

June 27th:

Meet a Musical Instrument. Try out different instruments.

June 28th:

Drum circle. make your own percussion instrument, then, we drum!


July 9th:

Library Checkout day for Summer School kids at Whtiehall Public Library.




July 10th:

Butterfly program from Beaver Creek Reserve. Join an expert to learn about butterflies. 12:40 Melby park.


July 11th:

Owl Pellets. Dissect owl pellets and find out what kind of critters owls eat. 12:40 p.m. Melby Park shelter


July 12th

Nature Art: Design a rock to hid around our community to brighten a day.



July 16th

Library Checkout day for Summer School Kids at Whitehall Public Library




July 17th:

Geology 101 with UW Extension. Find out what rocks are and how to know!



July 18th:

Earthquake! Find out about earthquakes and build a quake-strong structure.


July 19th:

Rock slime. Make slime with Rocks in it. It will be cool.
